Our Mission
We believe in responsible filmmaking: responsible to the business and to the art.
We respect the individual artists with whom we collaborate, the investors with whom dreams become profitable realities, and the movie-going audience whom we serve.
We strive to create quality entertainment that will positively impact humanity and survive the test of time.
History
Gold Pictures was founded in 2001 on the heels of Jenni Gold’s directorial debut “Ready Willing and Able,” with an office on the backlot of Universal Studios, Hollywood. Working with her partner Jeff Maynard the company grew. As they developed their next feature film project, Jenni soon got antsy to get behind the camera again and began production on what would become the seminal inclusion in media documentary CinemAbility. Featuring incredible interviews with over fifty A-list actors, filmmakers, studio heads, and film historians including Academy Award Winners Jamie Foxx, Ben Affleck, Marlee Matlin, Geena Davis and many more, CinemAbility proved to be a monumental achievement for both Jenni and Gold Pictures.
Upon completing CinemAbility, Jenni jumped at the opportunity to develop and produce the low-budget horror film Aaah! Roach!, which is currently in post production. Gold Pictures also continues to develop and produce media content for a number of philanthropic organizations including Easterseals Southern California, The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, The Media Access Awards, Disney Ideas, and more.
